It’s been 45 years since I went bass fishing so I was a bit apprehensive and excited at the same time.  Frank quickly put me at ease with his thoughtful explanations from basic water safety, lures, types of poles and lines, to the body mechanics of fishing along with hundreds of tips.  He was the perfect guide to reintroduce me to the basics and he rekindled my interest in fishing.  His keen understanding of the Delta environment and his passion for fishing and teaching was evident during the entire trip.  He loves the sport and his enthusiasm is catching.  And his patience when I kept landing in the reeds or crossed his line was truly amazing. I have personally fished with Frank and can tell you that he is a great angler and I would highly recommend spending a day with him. If you think you already have it all figured out, you might be surprised at what tips and tactics he can show you. He also will not spend the entire day fishing ahead of you like a lot of other guides will. Also, if you want to know about Snag Proof Frogs, you might want to book him for two days because he has those things figured out.
